Year 3 teacher
Opportunity to work with a brilliant team

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time, Year 3 teacher to join this school rated as "good" by Ofsted. Based in Enfield borough in North London, the school is seeking a teacher for a September start. This role is due to last until July 2021 and the salary will be outer London scale, presently £28355 - £40035, depending on experience, with a TLR point possibly available for leading a curriculum area.

This is a two-form entry school located in the London borough of Enfield and well-served by public transport(overground). They are led by an inspiring Headteacher who has helped the school to make very good progress since joining and they are now oversubscribed, with a good reputation locally. The school is well-resourced and has some excellent facilities.

The Headteacher's aim is to encourage children to become independent and inquisitive learners and to provide them with the skills to enable this.

Behaviour at the school is good, with children motivated to learn.

The class have made very good progress in Year 2 and behaviour is good, with the class responding well to a positive approach. There is a range of attainment levels, so differentiation in planning is essential. The year group plans together and the parallel year group teacher is very experienced. The school has a few children with additional learning needs, including some with English as an additional language and a part-time teaching assistant is assigned to the class to help support.

To join us and be successful in this Primary Teacher role you will need to:


Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
