This is a two-form entry school, which is over-subscribed and which has a good reputation. They have a settled team and a very good senior leadership team, who continue to improve what are already high standards(they were given a "good" status after their last year's Ofsted inspection). Staff are hard-working, dedicated, and try to ensure the school environment is very busy and creative. Children are encouraged to be independent learners.
The Headteacher is seeking a Year 3 teacher to join the team for the academic year. The role will be starting in January, to replace a teacher who is returning overseas. The school is seeking a teacher who ideally has a minimum of 1 years' experience as they will not have the capacity to assist an NQT with induction year. You will be working closely with the parallel class teacher and planning together each week, so a good team spirit is essential!
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Have experience teaching in a primary classroom in a mainstream setting and have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
