Year 3 Teacher needed at a 1 form entry Primary School in Bury (M45)

Tradewind are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Year 3 Teacher to work in a Primary School in Bury (M45). The role is a full time, long term position starting from January 2020 and lasting for a total of 2 terms, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. As a you will be expected to plan, prepare and teach the KS2 National Curriculum and have experience leading phonics to phase 5 and 6. You will be able to deliver engaging lessons and have excellent differentiation skills. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.

As a Year 3 Class teacher Job Responsibilities:
*Have a detailed knowledge of the relevant aspects of the National Curriculum and other statutory requirements.
*Understand progression across the Primary School, including before and after the age range currently taught.
*Ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained, and best use is made of teaching time.
*Set high expectations for pupils' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through positive and productive relationships

The school is 2-form entry and has recently been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted. It is located in Bury (BL9).
The proportion of pupils who are known to be eligible for support through the pupil premium is above average and the proportion of pupils supported by school action has risen to well above average with most pupils are from White British backgrounds. Job Requirements:
*Legal right to work in the UK
*Hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
*Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)
*Experience as a Year 3 Class Teacher
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Able to travel to Bury
