Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Newly Qualified Teacher to join their forward thinking and exciting school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and learning in a Year 3 class and will receive support from a dedicated NQT mentor. The role is due to start in September 2020.



The Outstanding two form entry primary school are well known for their love of learning and creative and exciting curriculum. Learning is special experience in school which inspires children to have high aspirations in the essential academic areas whilst still learning plenty more in Art, Geography, RE, Technology, Music, computing and PE. The Headteacher is looking for an NQT who is committed, hardworking, reliable and keen to learn. The successful candidate will be passionate about making learning fun, relevant and enjoyable. The successful candidate will be able to complete the following:



Provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which each student can reach their full potential
Use targeted teaching to make sure all students make fast and constant progress across all the curriculum
Have high aspirations and expectations on students in both behaviour and achievement
Encourage each child to be positive and self-motivated, taking responsibility for their own actions


The school is located in Harrow and is served by excellent public transport links. Parking is available for any staff who wish to drive.

You will be regularly observed by SLT and your mentor who will provide you will support and constructive feedback on your progress

To join us and be successful in this Year 5 teacher role, you will need to:



Hold a valid teaching qualification(PGCE, B.Ed etc)
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
