Are you an experienced Year 3 Primary Teacher looking to take a delightful class in Waltham Forest for a January 2020 start?

This two-form, Primary School is looking for an exceptional teacher who can commit from January until July 2020. This is a long-term teaching role with the opportunity to become permanent in September. Rates of between £140 - £170 per day, depending on experience are being offered.

This mainstream Primary School, is deeply committed to equipping all their children to be lifelong learners with a "can do" attitude.
They approach learning and teaching based on Carol Dweck's "Mindsets", encouraging the children to believe that they can achieve anything they put their mind and effort into.
Teachers are encouraged to be creative and innovative in their approach to learning and teaching, using approaches that value effort, perseverance ;co-operation; collaboration and leadership skills. The school believes that a close and trusting relationship between home and school, working together at all times to promote the aims and ethos of the school, is important to the success of the children and school as a whole.

The Year 3 class are the most settled, well-behaved and eager to learn class in the whole school. They have a great work ethic and are committed to their learning.

-An experienced Year 3 Teacher who can drive the vision of wanting every child to achieve their highest potential.
-A teacher who has relevant, recent experience of teaching dynamic and engaging lesson to 7-8 year olds.
-A person with a sense of humour and a high work ethic.
-Someone that is resilient and reflective on their own practice
-A teacher who is committed to raising standards and achievement in the whole school

The school is based in the Borough of Waltham Forest and is well served by the Overground and has a large school car park. Waltham Forest has large open spaces and benefits from the large Epping Forest.


To join us and be successful in this Year 3 Teaching role you will need to:

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
