Year 4 Teacher needed in a small Roman Catholic Primary School in Bury

The Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Year 4 Teacher to work for one of our client schools in Bury which is easily accessible from the M60. The position is to start in September 2019 with a school contract available for the successful candidate.

Details of the role are as follows:
*Key Stage 2 Teacher
*Year 4 Class
*Offered on a temp to perm basis
*December 2019 start
*Pay £135 - £165 per day. Permanent MPS/UPS opportunity from September 2019
*Broad curriculum with a lot of enrichment opportunities
*Key Stage 2 Teacher with a minimum of 1 years teaching experience
*Meet the 8 teaching standards
*Understanding and confidence to work in a diverse inner-city environment
*Have confidence in AFL, behaviour management and differentiation
The School:
The school is 2-form entry and has recently been rated Good by Ofsted. It is in Bury and the new headteacher, with good support from senior and middle leaders, is making rapid improvements. The headteacher delegates responsibilities effectively and staff work well as a team.
The current building was opened in 1975. The main building consists of 7 class bases, shared curriculum areas, 2 halls, a library and a computer suite. Nursery pupils are accommodated in a separate, self-contained building. There are extensive external areas providing opportunities for sport, play and extended curriculum activities.

The staff at the school teach the faith, doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church. Children are involved in school Masses and religious celebrations throughout the year. These are rich and valuable experiences which parents and carers are welcome to share in.

*Can support, inspire and excite learning in children.
*Have good organisation skills.
*Be able to create a safe and engaging learning environment
*Have an excellent knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
