Tradewind are seeking to appoint a KS2 teacher for an exciting opportunity at a large 2 form entry school in Stockport. This full-time position will commence in January and will be paid to scale. This 'good' OFSTED rated school educates the Brinnington community and is proud of the job they do to support children, staff and families in being successful citizens. The school is led by an experienced Headteacher who has fantastic structures in place to ensure school wide consistency. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join their KS2 department and additionally have varied subject lead roles available providing the chance to progress in your career.

As the KS2 teacher your will be expected to:

-Attain the highest standards of teaching and learning

-Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum using adaptive teaching methods to ensure learning is accessible for all

-Work well independently as well as part of a team and follow school schemes to ensure continuity of learning

-Have high expectations of the children in respect of learning and behaviour

-Create and maintain strong partnerships with families

-Capitalise on the fantastic school resources including IT equipment and outdoor learning spaces

-Adhere to school policies such as safeguarding

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with KS2 experience to really make an impact and thrive in an environment where children really benefit from strong role modeling and guidance. Essential requirements:

  • QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Experience teaching in KS2 with excellent references to support your previous experience
  • Provide a CV with 10 years employment history and explanations of any CV gaps
  • Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
  • Have a right to work in the UK
