About the role
This OFSTED 'Good' two form entry Stockport primary school is looking for a Year 5 teacher who can deliver lessons across the National Curriculum and has excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. As a year 5 teacher in this school, you will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of subjects through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT. You will be working as part of a team of 4, which includes 2 Teachers and 2 teaching assistants so your strong communication skills will be a real asset in this role.

Your key responsibilities
*Teaching a Year 5 class
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Ensuring that all children make the minimum expected progress throughout the year
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with the full time teaching assistant in your class

To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
*Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
*Have at least 4 months school-based experience of working in a UK primary school setting.
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
