Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil. The role is due to commence in ASAP and will last until July 2019 with a view to being employed permanently following this. This role will be a full-time position working Monday - Friday. Your daily rate of pay will be £75.00 - £85.00 per day. Working hours will be 8:30am-16:00pm.

The school are popular in the local community and oversubscribed every year. They are located close to East Finchley Station and set in leafy green grounds. Staff are warm and welcoming and work very well with one another. Pupils are bright and intelligent and enjoy attending school.

The Headteacher is looking for a Teaching Assistant with the following attributes:
*Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
*Excellent communicator
*Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
*A patient and hardworking Teaching Assistant
*Experience supporting pupils with SEN


This role will require you to support a pupil in Year 5 who has challenging behaviour. The child is often disruptive in class when they struggle with class work. Your role will be to support the child academically and provide them with easier access to the curriculum. As well as assisting the child's academic progress, you will also be required to support social and mental wellbeing.

The school is very easily accessible via the Northern Line allowing easy access to the school from South London. Regular buses pass the school from all areas of London.

If you are successful, you will be working in a friendly thinking Primary School. Permanent contracts are offered to stay who prove to be hardworking, enthusiastic and committed.
