About the School - Year 6 Primary Teacher - St Albans, Hertfordshire

This is a small Primary School run through the Christian faith and belief that every child deserves an exceptional education. The school serves a diverse community in popular St Albans, Hertfordshire and as such has an intake of pupils from a range of faiths. Teaching and learning is at a high level at this school, with a recent Ofsted visit resulting in the school being given a solid 'Good' grade in all areas. The school aims to improve further. Due to personal illness the schools current Year 6 Teacher is not going to be able to take up their duties for next year and therefore the school have this vacancy at quite a late point of the year. They are determined to find an exceptional team member to join, ideally on a permanent basis who is keen to take on this well-behaved class who have shown they have all the ability to perform highly at next years SATs.

About the Role - Year 6 Primary Teacher - St Albans, Hertfordshire

• Induction completed and at least two further years teaching Key Stage 2
• Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
• Ability to build confidence in pupils about to sit SATs exams
• Desire to play a full role in the wider school
