Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate, hard-working Primary Teacher that will also be the Year 6 Group Leader to join this Primary School based in Ealing for a September 2019 start. This is a full-time permanent role and the salary will be Inner London scale £29664-£40372. TLR2 is offered for the extra responsibility.

This Primary School is committed to providing a happy learning community where both students and staff want to be each day, this is reflected in the fantastic behaviour of each student. Each staff member in the school knows their role and how that impacts on the students and their learning. This would be an excellent place for an experienced Teacher to continue their development into becoming an excellent leader due to the fantastic training and CPD that is offered in school, this will help with your career progression not only in the Year Group Leader role but further into your teaching career. You would take half a day out of class dedicated to leadership time.

We are looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher that will take on the Year 6 Group Lead that can:

-Provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which each student can reach their full potential
-Use targeted teaching to make sure all students make fast and constant progress across all the curriculum
-Have high aspirations and expectations on students in both behaviour and achievement
-Encourage each child to be positive and self-motivated, taking responsibility for their own actions
-Fit in with the diverse, inclusive curriculum which is balanced and differentiated to the needs of each student
-Help the school on their journey to being one of only a small number of schools to become a Visible Learning School
-Take on the leadership responsibilities required to lead a year group.

This is a role to work as a Year 6 Year Group Leader and Primary Teacher in a School rated 'Good' by OFSTED. Preference to someone with minimum 3 years of teaching experience but please still do apply if you feel you have the leadership qualities from another non-teaching based role or experience.

The school is a based in Ealing, it is accessible from the central line and just a 3-minute walk from the station. An excellent area to be, very close to the regeneration around Hammersmith and West London.

To join us and be successful in this Primary Teacher with Year Group Lead you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
