Brent School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our team as Assistant Head. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant and diverse school community.

Role Overview: As a Year 6 Teacher and Assistant Head, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Year 6 team and supporting the overall development and success of our school. You will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences, ensuring our students reach their full potential academically and socially. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will work closely with the school leadership team to contribute to the strategic direction and continuous improvement of Brent School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge students in Year 6.
  • Lead and support the Year 6 team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Provide effective pastoral care and support to students, promoting their well-being and personal development.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to foster positive relationships and partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
