This is an exciting opportunity at a successful two form entry primary school in Barnet to start in September. The role will run until the summer with the view to making the appointment permanent in September 2020. The salary will be outer London scale £29664 to £48244 and the school are ideally looking for an experienced candidate.
This is a 2-form entry primary school with lovely grounds, modern facilities and exceptional behaviour. Staff and parents here are friendly and committed, and children here make good progress in a nurturing and caring environment. This is a diverse and inclusive school that offers an extensive range of after school clubs and sporting activates.
This is a full time Year 6 teacher role, teaching across the UK National Curriculum in Year 6. The school would ideally like someone who has a literacy specialism.
The school is easily accessible from the underground (Northern Line) and the overground, and there is also ample off street parking around the site if you prefer to drive. There are a number of buses that stop outside the school.
We are looking for:
-Recent experience of teaching Year 6 using the British Curriculum
-Ideally 2 or more years of Year 5/6 teaching experience
-Ideally someone who specialises in Literacy (not essential)
-An engaging individual with high energy, enthusiasm and flexibility
-A committed practitioner who expects and delivers the highest standards in teaching and learning
-A teacher who is looking for a permanent commitment and the chance to progress
-A team player who is happy to share planning and work alongside the other Year 6 Teacher

To join us and be successful in this full time Year 6 teacher role you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teacher qualification.
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history (if applicable) and any employment breaks must be explained.
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
