Are you an inspiring, creative, and engaging KS2 Teacher who is looking for a role within Bridlington?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a school in the Bridlington area who is searching for their next Year 6/KS2 Teacher to start with them in the new academic year. This role is temporary for the first term of the academic year. This role is suitable for both NQT's and Fully Qualified Teacher and pay will be in line with recent experience and recent pay scales.

The school is a small single entry Primary School. The school, situated near the beautiful coast in Bridlington, is a friendly and warm school with a lot of history. They are a huge part of the local community and are proud to support as much as possible with local events. The school's ethos is based around community and looking after the environment not just within the school's grounds but the wider area too.

We are looking for:
A Year 6 Specialist with the ability to teach the KS2 curriculum with experience of the SAT's Examiniations
A committed practitioner, who will work within the school policies and their drive to raise pupil attainment
A Teacher who will work well within the school team, the school see their team more like a family
The school would like someone who would be interested in subject leadership in the future

The Role will be within Year 6 and you will be teaching a small class of between 20-25 pupils. The role would require full planning, marking, and assessment. You will also be required to attend parents' evenings. If possible, the ability to run an extra-curricular activity of your choice for the children would be beneficial but this is not essential. You would have the support of a fantastic teaching assistant on a full-time basis.

The school is located in the Bridlington area, is accessible by public transport and there is free parking on site for drivers. This is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also good train links and bus links to the school for candidates traveling a bit further afield.

After speaking with the school building relationships within the community is important. They also are keen to use the outdoor environment as much as possible. The school is a small building but they have a lot of outdoor space. The school is undergoing a project to build a new wildlife pond so the fundraising will start for that in September. Someone with a passion for the outdoors would be ideal so that they can help with the project.


To join us and be successful in this Year 6 Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
