Tradewind Education is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming community primary school located in the vibrant Cheadle area of Stockport. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students as they navigate their final year of primary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Year 6 class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students prepare for upcoming assessments and examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the overall success of the Year 6 cohort.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Year 6 classroom setting is essential.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting the needs of children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications are advantageous.
Details:
- Location: Cheadle, Stockport
- Contract: Initially until May half-term
- Pay Rate: £85 to £90 per day
