*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for an Year 6 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small primary school in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside. About the role

This Oldham based primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS2 department supporting within Year 6. The successful candidate must have previous experience of supporting students within Key Stage 2 in the lead up to SATS. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting the students within Year 6, running booster and interventions sessions with groups of up to 8 students. The Headteacher is looking for a Teaching Assistant with the ability to help students in preparation for their SATs, and is particularly looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of the Key Stage Two Maths Curriculum.
