Year Group Leader for Year 3

Harrow, London
The position is paying main pay scale plus TLR dependant on experience.

The school is four-form entry primary school with a successful and committed team of staff. There is a great atmosphere at the school, with a very busy feel. The school is well resourced with excellent indoor and outdoor learning spaces

The Year Group Leader for Year 3 must have the following requirements:

Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
Be experienced teaching in lower Key Stage Two
Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK primary curriculum
· Have previous experience undertaking some management or leadership responsibilities

Have a creative approach and a positive work ethic
Be able to engage positively with colleagues, children and parents

The following experience is required to be considered for this role:

· Good organisational skills and time management

· Ability to coach, develop and influence the practice of other practitioners

· Experience of leading educational developments and successfully managing change
