Youth Support Worker - Teaching Assistant (Primary Schools)

As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to students with SEND in various primary schools across Liverpool. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons;
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs;
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment;
  • Offering emotional and behavioural support to students;
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop individualised learning plans;
  • Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people with SEND;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs;
  • Patience and empathy when working with students facing various challenges;
  • A proactive and positive attitude;
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
