Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Youth Worker to be based within a school in Liverpool. You will be working with children aged from 11-16 who are no longer in a mainstream school.

You will work from a small site based in Knotty Ash, between the hours of 8.30-3.30pm.
The role will be classroom based, helping the boys with their work, but you will also provide emotional and behavioural support.

These children have more often than not come from troubled backgrounds and as a result deal with associated social and emotional issues.
We look for:
*Experience working with young people, preferably in Youth Centres or residential children's homes
*Previous experience with challenging behaviours
*Calm but positive personality
*Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
*Excellent listening skills
*Maths and English GCSE as a minimum
