Tradewind Liverpool are currently looking for two Youth Workers to be based within a school in Sefton once the schools reopens to full capacity.

You will be working with children aged from 11-16 who are no longer in mainstream school. These children have been excluded from their mainstream secondary schools due to behavioural challenges, therefore we are looking for Youth Workers who are experienced with these types of young people and can demonstrate an ability to descalate obstructive and aggressive behaviour when presented to you.

The school is located in Formby and is around an 18 minute walk from Formby train station. It is a site best accessed by car where parking is available.

* Experience working with young people, preferably in Youth Centres or Sports Clubs
* Previous experience with challenging behaviours
* Calm but positive personality
* Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
* Excellent listening skills
* Maths and English GCSE as a minimum
