A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school based in Hounslow is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their thriving English department.
This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, offered on a permanent contract.
Salary will match the Outer London MPS/UPS scale.

English Teacher - Hounslow, London
Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential)
Promote a love of literature and language, encouraging students to develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Inspire students to express themselves confidently and think critically, supporting both their academic progress and personal growth
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student is supported to achieve their best
Be an active member of the English department and contribute to wider school life

Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject
