KS1 Teacher - Outstanding SEND School

Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) - Up to UPS3
Location: Brent, North West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent


SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a leading ASD-specialist primary school in Brent, seeking a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The school provides an adapted National Curriculum for pupils aged 4-11 with autism spectrum conditions, speech and language needs, and social communication challenges.

About the Role:

  • Teach a KS1 class of up to 8 pupils with EHCPs for ASD and related needs.

  • Plan and deliver personalised, engaging learning experiences aligned to developmental levels.

  • Work with a full-time team of support staff and collaborate with therapists and families.

  • Opportunities to lead areas such as communication, sensory integration or literacy within the SEND framework.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has taught in EYFS/KS1 or SEND settings.

  • Has a genuine commitment to inclusive education and a love of supporting neurodiverse learners.

  • Can differentiate effectively and maintain structured routines.

  • Open to training and building expertise in ASD, behaviour support and assistive communication.
