Tradewind are seeking a passionate and committed Reception Teacher for a long-term position at a wonderful school based in Cheadle!
On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are seeking to appoint a Reception Teacher who is available from September to work at a highly reputable school in Cheadle, Stockport. This is a long-term position paid to scale (MPS1-6) and provides a supportive environment in which to thrive. A strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework will be key to your success as will the ability to well as a team player to share best practice and drive outstanding progress across the Early Years provision.

What are the school looking for?
The successful teacher will have direct experience In EYFS and have a strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Framework. Experience with continuous provision as well as directed input and activities will be crucial to your success and ensuring all children maximise their potential. The class cohort is average size with some SEND needs. TA support is fantastic with all hands on desk working harminously as a team.
EYFS Teaching responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment for young children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate and engaging lessons based on the EYFS framework and foster a love for learning by incorporating creative and hands-on activities into lessons.
- Foster social, emotional, and academic development in young learners.
- Effectively manage and supervise children to ensure a safe and positive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress through assessments and observations.
- Collaborate with parents to communicate student progress and address any concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.
