We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to support students across a range of subjects while gaining valuable classroom experience.
The Role:
As a Graduate TA, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll assist in lessons, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in the classroom to enhance their learning and progress
Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom management
Help monitor student progress and contribute to assessment and feedback
Support students with additional needs, including SEN or EAL
What We're Looking For:
A degree in any subject (2:2 or above)
A passion for working with young people and making a difference
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, positive, and resilient attitude
Experience in a school or youth setting is desirable but not essential
