Experienced Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Bolton)
Full Academic Year | Primary Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in primary education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bolton area. This is a full-time role available for the entire academic year, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working in a primary school setting
Strong background supporting children with SEND needs
A genuine passion for education and inclusive learning
Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
The Role:
Supporting individual pupils and small groups with SEND
Assisting the class teacher with daily tasks and lesson delivery
Implementing targeted support strategies to aid learning
Monitoring and reporting on student progress and behaviour
