Supply English Teachers - Bristol
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £160 - £250 (depending on experience and pay scale)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and adaptable English Teachers to join our supply pool in Bristol for the start of the new academic year in September 2025.
We work with a wide range of secondary schools across the Bristol area, offering both short-term cover and long-term placements. Whether you're looking for daily supply or a full-term role, we have opportunities to suit your needs and lifestyle.
About the Role:
- Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English across a variety of secondary schools
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in English Language and Literature
- Planning and marking responsibilities required for longer-term roles
- Play a key role in supporting student development in reading, writing, and critical thinking
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
- Full right to work in the UK
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment (where applicable)
- Previous experience teaching English in UK secondary schools is highly desirable
