Teaching Assistants - Bude
Location: Bude and surrounding areas
Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP - ready when you are
Contract: Flexible - day-to-day, long-term, or temp-to-perm
Hours: Full-time or part-time, term-time only
We're partnering with schools in and around Bude looking for supportive, reliable Teaching Assistants who want to make a real difference, especially with pupils who have special educational needs. Whether you've worked in mainstream or SEN settings, or have experience supporting young people in other roles, this flexible role offers meaningful work that fits your lifestyle.
No formal qualifications needed - just patience, a positive attitude, and some experience supporting children and young people, ideally including those with SEN.
What you'll be doing:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils, including those with SEN
Helping children stay focused, engaged, and confident
Assisting with behavioural challenges and additional needs
Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to deliver tailored support
Contributing to a calm, inclusive classroom environment
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people, ideally including SEN
Is patient, approachable, and adaptable
Works well within a team and follows school routines
Communicates clearly and is proactive in supporting pupils' needs
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Two references from the last two years
The right to work in the UK
