Class Teacher - SEN School
Location: Barrow - In - Furness
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per year plus SEN allowance
Or £162.30 - £251.71 per day plus SEN allowance
About the Role:
Tradewind is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join an SEN school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils who have a wide range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, sensory impairments, communication and language difficulties, complex health and medical needs, and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching tailored to pupils' diverse needs.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans.
- Support the social, emotional, and educational development of pupils.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to reviews.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience or strong interest in working within SEN settings.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
