Location: Crewe, Cheshire East
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (potential for permanent role)

Salary: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Secondary School in Crewe, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience, this role offers the chance to support pupils' learning, build strong relationships, and contribute to a positive school environment.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects

  • Working alongside teachers to deliver tailored support to individual pupils or small groups

  • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities

  • Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (SEND experience is desirable but not essential)

About You:

  • Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable

  • A calm, patient and encouraging approach to supporting learning

  • A genuine interest in education and pupil development

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A willingness to learn and take part in professional development opportunities

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - a degree is desirable but not essential
