Exciting Teaching Assistant Opportunities - Kent

Full-time | Monday to Friday | £90 per day

Are you a motivated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to support a range of SEN schools across Kent. We have several vacancies available and are eager to hear from candidates ready to make a difference in students' lives.

These roles are full-time, starting immediately on a long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right individuals.

No prior school experience? No problem! If you have the right attitude and transferable skills, we offer in-house TA training at our Whitstable office to prepare you for the role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students in one-to-one and small group settings

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • Helping maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment

  • Supervising students during outings and off-site activities

  • Simplifying instructions and providing personalised guidance to help students stay engaged

What You'll Need:

  • Enhanced child-only DBS, Overseas Police Checks (if applicable), and professional references - if you don't have a DBS, we'll help you apply and refund the £62 fee after you complete 20 days of work for us

  • The legal right to work in the UK

  • Driver's licence is beneficial but not essential. We need you to be able to travel one hour minimum if you use public transport, and if you drive 30 minutes minimum
