Are you an experienced Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry?

Tradewind is working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary School based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join their school community from September 2025. The school prides itself on high-quality teaching, excellent student outcomes, and offers a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Role: Science Teacher

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with a specialism in either Physics or Chemistry
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Mark, assess, and track student progress
Contribute to curriculum development/share best practice within the Science department
Promote and implement a positive and inclusive learning environment
Form Tutor responsibility, supporting the academic and pastoral growth of students

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or equivalent experience in a relevant teaching/instructor role
A degree in Science (Physics or Chemistry preferred)
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science with confidence and adaptability
Strong classroom management skills
Commitment to continuous professional development
Enhanced DBS Checked (or willingness to obtain)
Based in, or commutable to Chesham, Buckinghamshire
