Cover Supervisors - Outstanding Secondary School - Ealing, West London

Tradewind Recruitment are working with outstanding secondary school based in Ealing who are looking to expand their teams of Cover Supervisors for the upcoming academic year. Role Overview - Cover Supervisor:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the regular class teacher. All work is pre-set, and your main role will be to ensure students remain on task, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide general support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Maintain a calm and focused learning environment

  • Ensure students complete tasks and adhere to school behaviour policies

  • Report any issues or concerns to relevant teaching staff or department leads

  • Support students in their learning and development as needed

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in working with young people in an educational setting

  • Previous experience in schools or working with young people is desirable

  • Confident classroom presence and good communication skills

  • Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different subjects and age groups

  • A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential

Contract Details:

  • Location: Ealing, West London

  • Start Date: Ongoing opportunities throughout the academic year

  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm (full-time); part-time roles also available

  • Pay: £100-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
