Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to support a range of secondary schools and alternative provisions in Waltham Forest. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people who face behavioural or emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with behavioural and SEMH needs.

• Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils manage emotions, build resilience and re-engage with learning.

• Collaborate with teaching staff, SEN teams and external agencies to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in youth work, mentoring, behaviour support or care.

• Skilled in de-escalation, positive reinforcement, and building trust with disengaged learners.

• Calm, compassionate, and confident in challenging situations.
