Position: Year 6 Class Teacher (Full-Time)
Salary: M1-M6 (based on experience)

What You Will Do

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils' needs
  • Prepare children for SATs and support them to achieve their full potential
  • Develop engaging learning experiences across the curriculum including English, maths, science, and foundation subjects
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes resilience, independence, and teamwork
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Lead initiatives that enhance pupil engagement and school life

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching upper Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
  • A confident practitioner with a proven track record of improving pupil outcomes
  • Skilled in managing behaviour positively and maintaining high expectations
  • Able to deliver effective SATs preparation and assessment
  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Passionate about supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
