At Tradewind, we're proud to support schools across South London by connecting them with outstanding support staff. We are currently working with a range of secondary schools in Sutton, who are looking for experienced HLTA's to join their team in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable HLTA who is ready to take on responsibility for leading small group interventions, supporting classroom teaching, and contributing to planning and assessment in collaboration with teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering small group or one-to-one interventions across core subjects
Supporting classroom teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment
Covering classes when required in the absence of the teacher
Working closely with SEN and pastoral teams to support student development
Helping to raise achievement and promote positive learning behaviours

What We're Looking For:

HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a higher-level classroom support role
Experience working with students aged 11-16 (secondary setting preferred)
Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead learning
A proactive, flexible, and student-centred approach
A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing
