Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £85-£95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is confident supporting active learners in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
Help manage classroom behaviour using effective and positive strategies
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working in Early Years (Nursery or Reception)
Strong behaviour management skills
A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA or Early Years Certificate) is desirable
