1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants - Watford, Hertfordshire
Full-time temporary/ Permanent Positions | Part-Time Hours Available
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford, Hertfordshire is currently seeking two caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join their supportive staff team as 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants. These are fantastic opportunities to make a genuine impact on the learning and development of individual children with specific additional needs.
You will be working closely with children on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support under the guidance of the class teacher, SENCo, and external specialists. The successful applicants will play a key role in helping pupils become confident, independent learners.
These roles are offered on both a temporary and permanent basis and offer a wonderful opportunity for those with a nurturing personality.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive, flexible approach with a calm and encouraging manner
- The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
- Some experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
