Join our dedicated teams as a Primary SEN Teacher in Hull & East Riding! Are you looking for your next rewarding role? Our network of supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Hull & East Riding is looking for passionate teachers where you'll make a real difference in the lives of children aged 3-11 with diverse learning disabilities and complex needs. We are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join our committed teams from September 2025.

As the successful teacher, you'll be instrumental in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, nurturing their development, and adapting the curriculum to their individual requirements. You'll be paid in line with the national teacher's pay scale (M1-M6 equivalent, specific daily rate dependent on experience).

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an exceptional Primary SEN Teacher who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils, adaptable to varying learning styles and complex needs.

  • Has proven experience in, or a strong interest in, teaching children with learning disabilities and complex needs within a primary setting.

  • Is committed to inclusive education and celebrates diversity, with a strong understanding of various learning disabilities and effective, person-centred strategies.

  • Works exceptionally well as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues (including therapists and support staff).

  • Brings creativity, energy, and resilience to their practice, along with a patient, understanding, and highly empathetic approach.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this vital role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR a recognised primary teaching qualification.

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS (or be willing to apply for one) and/or Overseas Police checks if applicable.

  • A CV that comprehensively covers your employment and education history since finishing formal education, with any employment breaks clearly explained.

  • Legal Right to work in the UK.
