Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and inclusive 3-form entry primary school in the heart of Barnet. This welcoming school is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The successful candidate will be teaching in Year 2, with the year group to be finalised at interview stage.
This is a full-time, long-term role that includes planning responsibilities, as the successful candidate will be starting at the beginning of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective KS1 lessons
- Support the learning journey of all pupils, adapting resources where needed
- Work collaboratively with a classroom TA and year group colleagues
- Maintain positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK
- Sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for teaching
- Ability to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Commitment to the school's values and ethos
- Availability to work full-time and long-term from September
