Position: Science Technician
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

🔹 The Role:

As a Science Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of science lessons. You'll be preparing equipment, setting up experiments, maintaining laboratory stock and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. You'll work closely with teachers and students to help deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

🔹 What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a school science department or similar lab environment

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A good understanding of lab safety and COSHH regulations

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Confidence with handling scientific materials, equipment, and chemicals

🔹 Desirable (but not essential):

  • Science-related qualification

  • Experience using school systems or stock management software

  • Knowledge of secondary science curriculum and experiment preparation
