Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

We're always looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join our incredible network of primary, secondary, and specialist schools in Wandsworth. 🔹 The Role:
As a SEND TA, you'll provide vital one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities. You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt resources, implement support strategies, and ensure each child is able to thrive both academically and emotionally.
🔹 What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in a school, care, or youth setting)
A calm, empathetic, and patient nature
Ability to follow EHCPs and individual support plans
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
🔹 Desirable (but not essential):
Experience with PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies
Training in Team Teach or de-escalation techniques
Background in Psychology, Education, or Youth Work
Understanding of ASD, SEMH, and other common learning needs
