About the Role:
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment for pupils facing behavioural or mental health challenges. Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff, you'll help ensure every child receives the guidance and care they need to succeed.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assisting with the implementation of behaviour support strategies
  • Supporting pupils with tailored learning approaches
  • Building trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or additional needs
  • A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to support
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
