Location: Medway & Surrounding Areas
Needs Supported: PMLD, ASD, SEMH, ADHD, Dyspraxia
Pay: MPS / UPS

Are you a committed and enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teacher ready to make a genuine impact? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of specialist schools in Medway and the surrounding areas, seeking dedicated teachers to support students with a wide range of additional needs. For the right candidates, these roles could lead to permanent positions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A flexible, team-oriented teacher who thrives in a dynamic SEN environment

  • Confident supporting students with a variety of needs, including PMLD, ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and Dyspraxia

  • Understands the impact of adverse childhood experiences and builds strong, trusting, therapeutic relationships

  • Calm, resilient, and skilled at differentiating and adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles

  • Brings humour, compassion, and creativity to the classroom

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, PSHE) to small, well-supported classes

  • Using active and creative strategies, including sports or movement-based learning

  • Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to meet EHCP goals

  • Fostering a safe, nurturing school culture that puts student wellbeing first
