SEN Teaching Assistant - Corby

We are recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a number of specialist and mainstream schools with SEN provisions in Corby. These long-term roles are ideal for individuals passionate about inclusion and ready to provide 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs.
About the Role:
Support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties
Work 1:1 or with small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Help students engage in lessons and access the curriculum using differentiated and adaptive approaches
Assist with personal care or behaviour management when required (full training provided)
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and outside agencies
A willingness to support pupils with personal care or challenging behaviour where needed
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. Team Teach, Autism Awareness, CACHE Level 2/3) - desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
