A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Merton is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join the pastoral team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive role and is committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students across the school who display challenging behaviour or need extra pastoral support.

  • Acting as a role model, building positive and respectful relationships with students.

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver behaviour interventions and mentoring.

  • Supporting the wider pastoral team in maintaining a calm and safe school environment.

  • Collaborating with teachers, leaders, and external agencies to ensure students receive the right support.

Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural, emotional, or social needs.

  • Be calm, consistent, and confident in managing behaviour.

  • Be passionate about inclusion, wellbeing, and helping students succeed.

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Be able to maintain firm boundaries while showing empathy and understanding.
