SEN Teaching Assistant - Dunstable

Mainstream and SEN Schools | Full-Time & Part-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunities Available

We're working with a number of welcoming mainstream and specialist schools across Dunstable, all looking for supportive, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

About the Role:

  • Supporting children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs

  • Working either 1:1 or with small groups

  • Helping children access learning and feel safe, included and understood

  • Collaborating with teaching staff, SENDCos and therapists to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil

What We're Looking For:

  • A calm, patient and compassionate approach

  • Experience with SEN is desirable, but not essential

  • Enthusiasm to learn, confidence to take initiative, and a genuine interest in helping children thrive

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
