Psychology Graduate

Contract Type: Temp to perm

Are you a recent psychology graduate with a passion for supporting children, young people, or adults with additional needs? We're offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment - ideal for those pursuing a future in clinical psychology, educational psychology, mental health, or therapy.

The Role

You will work as a key part of a multi-disciplinary team to support individuals with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)

  • Learning disabilities or neurodiverse conditions

  • Trauma-informed care and behavioural support

Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • 1:1 or small group interventions

  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management

  • Collecting observational data and contributing to reports

  • Working closely with psychologists, therapists, and teachers

  • Supporting therapeutic activities and sensory regulation strategies

Requirements

  • A degree in psychology (or related subject)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic nature

  • Some experience with SEN, mental health, or support work (desirable but not essential)

  • Willingness to undertake training (e.g., safeguarding, Team Teach, mental health first aid)
