Part- Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £52
Contract Type: Part-Time, Fixed-Term (Academic Year)
Hours: Midday - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a primary school in Hillingdon Borough, West London, to recruit a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with children with a variety of special needs. This role begins in September 2025 and runs for the full academic year.
The school is seeking someone with strong behaviour management skills, an engaging approach and a flexible attitude to work.
They are seeking someone very committed and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured, 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
Assisting in class and sometimes away from the main class
Implement individual targets as set by the SENCO and external professionals
Work closely with the class teacher and inclusion team to adapt learning tasks
Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes engagement and independence
Provide regular feedback to staff and parents on progress and behaviour
Candidate Profile:

Proven experience supporting children with SEN needs
A calm, patient and reliable approach to behaviour management
A collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
The ability to remain consistent, responsive, and proactive throughout the day
A clear understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding practices
