Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism and complex needs?
We are currently recruiting two SEN Support Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist school setting supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional needs.


Role Overview:

  • Provide in-class support to pupils with ASD across a range of abilities and needs

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to support learning, communication, and emotional regulation

  • Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists to deliver personalised strategies and interventions

  • Promote independence, engagement, and inclusion in a specialist learning environment


Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with ASD and complex additional needs

  • A calm, patient, and consistent approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Willingness to follow behaviour and communication plans, including use of visuals or sensory strategies

  • School experience is not essential - backgrounds in care, youth work, or similar roles are welcome
