Pay: £90-£105 per day

An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Hackney is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students both in and out of the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates looking to gain meaningful school experience before moving into teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.

Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and resource preparation
* Run targeted intervention groups to help raise attainment and build student confidence
* Offer pastoral and emotional support, encouraging positive engagement in learning
* Gain first-hand experience of the teaching profession in a busy secondary school setting

Requirements:
* A recent graduate (any subject welcome)
* Patient, confident, and enthusiastic about working with young people
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
* Some experience with young people (e.g. tutoring, coaching, mentoring) is desirable
